Refund policy

Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with your Build Your Fed order. If there's a problem with your purchase, please contact us at hello@buildyourfed.co.uk and we'll be happy to help.

Change-of-mind returns
If you purchase online, you may cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. After telling us that you wish to cancel, you then have 14 days to return the item(s).
Items should be returned in the same condition in which they were received. You may inspect an item as you reasonably would when buying it in person, but we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund if its value has been reduced through handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it.

Unless the item is faulty, damaged on arrival or not as described, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning it. We recommend using a tracked postal service.
Where applicable, we will refund the purchase price and the cost of our standard delivery option. Any additional amount paid for an enhanced delivery service is not refundable beyond the cost of standard delivery.

Pre-owned items
Many Build Your Fed products are pre-owned. We aim to describe their condition accurately and show relevant wear, marks, missing accessories or other known issues in the listing and photographs.

The pre-owned nature of an item does not affect your statutory rights. However, an issue that was clearly disclosed before purchase will not be treated as an undisclosed fault.

Faulty, damaged or incorrectly described items
If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, or materially differs from its description, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@buildyourfed.co.uk, ideally with photographs showing the issue. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Refunds
For change-of-mind cancellations, refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or receiving evidence that they have been sent back where applicable. Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
